CHRISTMAS

Hi everybody! It’s me again, how are you?

Christmas is coming and it’s time for peace and love but the most important thing about these days is the fact of being with the family, all together.

Anyway, I want to write about one of my experiences of Christmas.
When I was a little girl who love play with her toys, match films of Peter Pan, drew cartoons, and believed in fairs and also in PAPA NOËL and the three kings, of course.

For me it was very traumatic to realized that these magical people didn’t exist, that there were only a fantasy , that parents were who bought the presents for Christmas time.
Why? Why this lies? So I started to think and I said: “Is Ratoncito Pérez a lie too?” and the answer were affirmative. Oh my God!! What a pity!! What a world of liers!!

Now, I’m older and it seems that all this of Christmas is only a strategy for buy and buy, spend more and more money in clothes and toys. But not at all, because is like a manner for demonstrating to the people that you love them that they are important and you want them to be happy. It’s difficult to accept that Papa Noel is a lie but when you see the other hand of the party is not as bad as you have though. So, why not, be happy these days and muse the holidays with the people you most love.

Hi NaCuPeNdA,

I quite agree with you, Christmas have two sides.

The side that you show the people you like/love you really appreciate them giving them some present. This is the 'key' side of the Christmas, if there wasn't this side, it would be a completely commercial holidays.

The other side is that one, the commercial one, it is not very beatiful but this is what we have.

Yes, it is a shame Papa Noel and 'Reyes Magos' white lie...but you really enjoy when you are a child, you feel that days as magical.

Lovely to read you again! As you say Christmas is a double faceted holiday...

You can find the corrections of this post on my blog. I want you to notice the mistakes in the text. Some of them, if you had reviewed properly, could have been avoided. You'll see.

Please, correct! Thanks!
