I was occupied on Friday afternoon but I realized that Henry Moore was the most celebrated sculptor of his time and he was one of the most famous modernist so I decided that I have to go on Sunday morning and saw what this man has done in his life and I discovered few very interesting things.

Henry Moore was born in July 1898 in Castleford, Yorkshire, and the seventh child of a mine manager who had worked at the pit face.

What I like most about MOORE were the drawing on pencil that he draw of the people lying on the tub of London because of the war. The positions of the people waiting for the bombs let me think about the panic, the darkness, the loneliness and the horror most of people world life nowadays. It’s scaring don’t you think?
His drawings, powerful evocations of human suffering impressed me and gave me some time to think about our change and that we are very lucky to be alive and to live in Barcelona because many people life with a piece of bread and some stones, and work 10 hours a day.

At this time, World War II, was a strange year for Moore because his daughter was born and he started to make some good figures of the family life I think that their are very positive. This figures I liked too but I have decided to write about what I like most and this was the drawings.
